Inspection Items and Parameters
Pitch Deviation
Pitch deviation is measured on a Gear Measuring Center. The parameters recorded are Fp (total cumulative pitch deviation) and fp (single pitch deviation). Acceptance follows GB/T 10095 and DIN 3960.
Profile Deviation
A Gear Measuring Center is also used for profile checks, capturing Fα (total profile deviation), ffα (profile form deviation) and fHα (profile slope deviation).
Helix Deviation
Helix deviation is evaluated on the same Gear Measuring Center, with Fβ (total helix deviation), ffβ and fHβ as the inspection parameters.
Radial Runout
Radial runout is checked with a Gear Radial Runout Tester, recording Fr (radial runout).
Tooth Flank Roughness
Tooth flank roughness is measured using a Roughness Tester. The parameters are Ra and Rz, and ground flanks must meet Ra≤0.4µm.
