Gears for Packaging Machinery
Drive gears for filling, sealing, labelling and cartoning equipment, with tooth flanks induction hardened to HRC45~55 and corrosion-resistant material options for washdown environments.

PinyiGear produces the drive components used in packaging equipment. These fall into two groups: the indexing and drive gears mounted inside the machine, and the sprockets and chains that run along the conveyor line. Bores, keyways and set screw holes are machined to customer drawings.
What to Send for a Quotation
To price a sprocket, we need the pitch, tooth count, bore and keyway dimensions. For a gear, send the module, tooth count and accuracy grade, or simply the drawing. Quotations are handled at sales@dgpinyi.com.
Component Types and Size Ranges
- Sprockets: 9~80 teeth, pitch 6.35~50.8mm, tooth flanks induction hardened to HRC45~55
- Roller chains: Matched to ANSI 40–200 and DIN/ISO 08A–20B
- Spur gears / helical gears: as per the customer drawing
Product pages: Sprockets and Roller Chains, Spur and Helical Gears.
Materials and Heat Treatment
Sprockets are typically produced from 45#, 40Cr, S45C, SCM440 or QT600-3. Stainless steel versions use 304 / 316. Tooth flanks are induction hardened to HRC45~55. Where washdown conditions apply, choosing 304 or 316 from the outset is the recommended route, since it removes the need for any later surface treatment.
Conditions These Parts Operate Under
- Frequent starts and stops at fast cycle times place a premium on wear resistance in the drive components.
- Filling and washdown zones expose parts to water and cleaning agents, so the steel selected must resist corrosion.
- Conveyor sprockets are swapped out often, which means their dimensions have to be interchangeable.
